We're coming down from PA on I-95 on our way to College Park, MD. Are there any MH restrictions for the Fort McHenry tunnel? Our height is 12'7". Thanks.

Restrictions is on propane not height - applies to both tunnels, Harbor and Fort McHenry. Approved route for those with propane on board is I-695 over the Key bridge.

No propane in containers larger than 10 pounds.
No vehicles taller than 13' 6" or wider than 96 inches.

Restrictions are in the last paragraph on the webpage.

"Vehicles carrying bottled propane gas in excess of 10 pounds per container (maximum of 10 containers), bulk gasoline, explosives, significant amounts of radioactive materials, and other hazardous materials are prohibited from using both the Fort McHenry and Baltimore Harbor Tunnels. In addition, vehicles in excess of 13 feet, 6 inches, in height, or 96 inches (8 feet) in width; and all double trailers are prohibited from using the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel. Vehicles carrying Class 1 explosives and radioactive materials require an escort at the Francis Scott Key Bridge. For additional information regarding these restrictions, please call 410-537-1374.

Take I-695 over the Key Bridge. Avoiding the tunnel and taking the Key Bridge is no big deal.

If it is windy, just go around the other way on 695. As long as the time is right it takes about the same amount of time.

I prefer 695 west and not the key bridge. Always had better luck and then no worries about wind!
