Does anyone know of a home product that safely strips floor wax?
Thanks,

For vinyl/linoleum - dishwasher detergent diluted does the trick. Found this out by accident close to 38 years ago. (It was not a happy accident, but it was good to know.) Don't ask me if it damages the finish of the floor, but it did remove buildup.

Armstrong has a line of different floor care products at Lowe's, in the flooring dept. I don't know if Armstrong is carried at the Home Depot.

I thought you weren't supposed to wax laminate? Check the container that the wax came in; IIRC, most of them say you can remove it with a solution of household ammonia.

There are several floor wax strippers. Armstrong makes one, there are some others, all are more or less equal.
I've used a few of 'em.. I've also used commercial products. I could not find a lot of difference, though I do admit that the first time I used the commercial product it was a major job (I was cleaning and waxing a floor that had not been properly cleaned in a long time. It was kind of fun This was saturday.
On Monday the office manager came in... Looked at the floor, Went back out to check the address to be sure she was in the right building or so I'm told)

Thanks,
