My DW is the same way. HATES to shop. The only place she will consider "shopping" is Home Depot! She goes to the gardening section.

OK, I'm with mockturtle and Frosty's Mom, I HATE to shop, but DH actually LOVES it. I give him a big list for Christmas with sizes, etc. and he gets everything on my list and actually does a really good job. Am I lucky or what?

She just finished watching "The world's longest garage sale" that takes place every year on hwy 127 from Tennessee to Ohio...
"Thats what I want to do...I'd love to do that trip it would be so much fun"....
mmm Why couldn't she have been watching road Atlanta, Nascar, or something on ocean fishing....
Guess I had better make room in the C...

Not as punishing as I was expecting. I figured you were going to say she decided she wanted a 45 ft tag axle A Class. You are getting off easy.

Usually a garage sale that big has something for everyone. You'll probably go and have a good time. Let us know!

We are doing just the opposite. We are retired and have been getting rid of (STUFF). Going to have a yard sale later this fall. In the last two sales we've had the rule is, " if it goes out the door it don't come back in", give it away if you have to. Actually I'm surprised at some of the "stuff" I've saved and now can't remember why it was so valuable.
Actually we had planned to sell the house and down size, so we'd have more time and $ to RV, but the down turn in the housing market killed that for now.
In any case it's just that much "stuff our boys won't have to deal with when we are gone.
Have fun and don't buy to small a trailer for all that "stuff". Jerry

I've got 2 BILs that love yard sales. They go looking for old tools, yard care equipment, sports equipment, toys for their kids/grandkids, etc. not the clothes and home decoration stuff. They've both bought things like child's golf clubs, weed eater, BB guns, natural gas space heater and stereo.

No, it seems there are at least five of us on the planet! I'll add "dog stuff" to RV and Camping gear -- the only things I like to shop for! One dog, seven leashes, 4 dumbbells, 5 crates ... . And tools.
