And there always seems to be a "but" involved! It's a Romahome R10 Solo which will make its' debut at the International Caravan & Motorhome 2008 show in the UK beginning tomorrow. Based on the interesting Citroen Nemo, it's equipped with a 70hp Citroen1.4HDi diesel engine with Sensodrive automatic, and features a mini galley kitchen with seats that fold flat to a 6'4" bed. Raising the roof will add 6'6" in overall height. And yes, it does have a hidden porta-potti, though quite frankly, I'd rather not know where it is! Not sure how they would classify this micro motorhome, possibly a class B, or maybe it simply has no class? The highly efficient R10 Solo is said to achieve 63MPG, and will list for about $33,235.(US).
A little minimalist for me personally, but would make an interesting day coach toad if it was 4-wheels down towable. You can find an article here. Additional photos here.

Could be a good toad perhaps. It would pass as a crossover and not a MH it seems.

A little too small for full timing I think. Can't get a 40" screen TV in it I bet!

Kind of a moot point currently as I couldn't find the base vehicle being certified for US emissions/safety.
As least it does have one spot where you could put your pants on standing up...LOL

Would love to have one as my second car. Keep it stocked at all times, ready to go. It's like backpacking on wheels, travel light with all the necessities. Think of it as a rolling picnic basket.

I would buy one if they were available here. It is the perfect overnight trip vehicle. The closest dealer seems to be in Costa Rica.

Maybe I missed the point, but isn't it that the motorhome has a "gas" mileage that beats all US hybrids by a mile?
Than Citroens vanished from US market like 40 years ago to my knowledge. I bet Peugeot makes something similar.
The Mercedes Sprint based motorhomes sell in US like crazy, regardless very high prices

Wouldn't mind getting a Citroen Nemo myself if they were available in the US. They start around $15,705.(US) for the diesel version in the UK, and the combined rating 63mpg does beat most hybrids sold here. The official Nemo site can be found here.
