RE: Vacationing in a stick home?

No, you can't own a stick house that you live in and be considered a fulltimer. That's a Snowbirder. Someone who lives in a trailer park (whom you might see on an episode of Cops) is not a fulltimer either. I guess that's why we have dictionaries so we don't have to have nonsense disagreements over what words mean.

RE: Cell phone security

Take into account all the conversations going on in the cellular world and the chance someone is listening to your conversation at the moment you're making a CC transaction. That's a pretty good way of looking at it.

RE: Battery Question

EVERY battery question is a 12v vs 6v battle. The OP said he was using an inverter. Did you check the water in your battery? Making coffee from an inverter will require at LEAST 2 12v or 2 6v batteries.

RE: move converter to own breaker

Good idea. Breakers are not designed to be switches so they may fail more quickly than switches.

RE: Inverter on only 1 outlet? UPDATED

I am forced to inverter camper or I am forced to the generator camper, all the time. Inverters.. inefficient..wasting the power during the DC to AC convertion is not logical without having to rip the whole underside open and run a separate romex feed for that one outletForced to invert the whole camper is no big deal. What's the problem? As said above.. why is this inefficiency a big deal? Separate feed for one outlet? Just plug the dang coach into the inverter, or wire up those outlets. If you want perfection it will cost you.. just doing a suitable job is much easier.

RE: Inverter Installation

You got it.. with the possible exception of turning off the converter when inverting.

RE: What do you think of this professional solar installation?

Don't sweat theft. I've not heard of anyone on here having roof panels stolen. Panels are just to big and bulky to take.
