RE: Picking your brains 4 fulltime RV retirement in 3yrs ;)

I started with a Class A, then a TT, then a Popup, then a Tent, then a TT and now a 5th. Different stroke for different folk. Rent first. I been happy with all but the next one will be an other 5th. Rent first.

RE: Slide Seals adhesive fails, any suggestions

On my Savoy, the wiper is attached to the body and the outer seal is attached to the lip of the slide. The new trailers have combined these two items in one unit that attaches to the body. The existing inner seal is attached to the inside slide lip. I have not looked at the inner seal on the new trailers, but this could also be replaced with the new type body seal if it is available without the wiper.

RE: Slide Seals adhesive fails, any suggestions

Same problem on my 2005 Savoy. When I replace the seals, I am looking at the newer style seals that attach to the body of the coach and not the slide. These are screw mounted and look much superior in design. Not cheap, but you only do it once. Look at any 2010 with a slide. Be snoopy. Snap back the seal at the bottom edge and take a look. I think you will like it.
