IRONMAN RADIALS AP. LT265/75-16 Load:E

i juat got a set of Ironman tires a couple of weeks ago. So far I like the new quiet smoother ride. I was just wondering if anyone else ever had these before? Like I said, the ride is alot quieter and smoother, even the steering is abit lighter. I'm wondering about how many miles should I expect on normal driving. 90 percent no camper, city drving. Also how do they work in the wet stuff? Any info would be great, thanks.

RE: Project - Outside Stereo System

Very slick! I've been wondering how to run out side speaker on my TC. I already have a CD player inside with some cheepee speakers. I was thinking some 6-1/2" speaker outside would be cool. Now you got me thinking.

RE: What's your alternative to the $200 alum steps?

To answer "youngm357", I was thinking if the bumber would flex a little than the hitch.

RE: What's your alternative to the $200 alum steps?

Thank dmax for the info/advice.
My set up is a 2007 Lance 815 on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 sport short bed. The truck is stock. Right now I have a 2" recever box bolted to the bumper, but I do plan on getting an actual tow hitch sometime soon. About ebay, most of what I see is for all the other types of RV's. Hardly any TC related stuff. I guess I'll keep looking.

What's your alternative to the $200 alum steps?

So far I have been using a fold out 3 step ladder to enter my camper. I would like something a little more permenant, but can't see my self paying $200 for the alum. pull-out type. So I guess that leads me to the hitch type of step. Dose anyone have one of these setups? How do they feel. Sometimes I see some that look like theres a big gap between the steps. I have kids ages 9,7&2 years old. I don't whant them to feel like there going to fall or something. Thank in advance for any info given.

RE: Where do you put wood? (I searched)

Just to get it right, is the wood on the floor fair game, or Should I ask a ranger just incase? I don't do much boondocking, mostly camp grounds. At the c.g. They usually say not to "disturbe" the grounds. Meaning small branches on the floor are OK, but nothing you need a chainsaw for.
