camping at Carl Washburn state park
We are headed to Florence Oregon, and are gonna be staying at Carl Washburn state park...would like to get some information on the campground and what to do in the area while there.

Freezing Refrig.
I have been boondocking for about 2 months. The last month my Dometic Refri. has been freezing food in the Refri. section not only in the freezer. I thought it may be due to the fact related to the use of gas only. Now Iam now hooked up to electrical and it still freezing.
The themo. is set on the setting 1. The Refri. is only half full and no ice build up on the fins....You guys have any suggestions..?

Thanks for recommending Harris Beach. We pulled in and got site A-22...WOW.. what a view out my window and the walk to the beach. All this Louisiana Man can say is WOW. Will stay longer than planned. Any suggestions on what to see,do,and eat. I know what to sip on at 500pm.

Camp Grounds Brookings, Or.
Will be staying in Brookings,Or for a couple of days starting tonight 2/24/10 on. We are heading up 101 from Ca. Never been to the Pacific coast and would like to find a CG with a view of the ocean and rocks with waves crashing..etc. Unlike California's, I can afford to stay in Oregon's State CG. Just don't know where to stay. Any thoughts??

Water leak around TV antenna
Just came out of Quartsite,Az for the last 2 months boondocking. Now in the Pacific NW and, you guessed it rain and alot of it. Made a stop for the night in Eureka,Ca. to find water had leaked into the rig from somewhere. I have a Fifer and the leak is in the bedroom. When its gets light I will get on the roof to inspect.
It is a good possibility that it may be coming in at the antenna. If so how does one make the repair? Has anyone experience this leak problem and how did you make that repair. I can use etherbond around the outside of the metel connection on the roof but how to repair where the antenna enters the roof itself? Any thoughts?

Rt 101 in Oregon
I will be traveling Rt.101 up the coast road through Oregon heading north in the next few days. I have a 31' fiver, 13'5" at 13500lbs. Will there be any situations that I may need to be aware? I will stop in Florence, Or. at Heceta Head Lighthouse. Your thoughts. I have never been on the west coast. Thanks

we are at Q also. The wind has picked up in the last 30 min. Some rigs are repositioning to face north south. Just a little run off in the washes. Have not yet, seen any tents flying by. Come on in the water is fine...

Just a suggestion. Use Skype for your face to face when distance is an issue. It is not as good as a "in present Face to face" but it is much better than a phone call.

Just got our shift this evening. Will be working shift 4 start Monday at 0630, work Tuesday off Weds, work Thurs. Friday. Not sure what area of the plant. We are in Mobil Scout in tha pecan grove. Any good place to eat in town?

At Coffeeville? Where is your rig, where next?
Often wondered if others that use Rv. net was in the area. We just arrived and will get our assignments tomorrow. The rig is parked in the pecan grove. After this we will go see the children and grands in Ala. and Louisiana and then off to the Big Q. How about yall? Where and whats next..??
