RE: Crestor (for cholesterol) for less than $1225 a year?

I'm in the process of giving the remainder of my perscription to someone who having some financial problems and uses to same dosage.
Some of you may not agree with this, but I just can't see dumping the tablets when they are perfectly good!!
It works for me....I've given rx's away also!!!!! If it is the same doseage/med, and you know/trust the taker/giver...... why not?????

RE: Crestor (for cholesterol) for less than $1225 a year?

Putting the cost aside - I can tell you from experience that Crestor IS NOT for everyone......was on it since April (09) and taken off about a week ago....my body feels like a new body, no more aches & pains...I can actually get out of bed in the middle of the night and not walk like a cripple. I have been on some type of Cholesterol medicine since 2004 (first heart cath with stents) until just recently....it seemed to me that Simvastatin had the least side effects....only taken off that because of the by-pass surgery - Dr wanted something "stronger", now nothing at all.......even coming off (weaning) the blood pressure meds....hopefully the depression will go away!

RE: Can anyone help me figure out NADA on this?

N&P thanks. I have been there. So the unit is worth $6790 and the dealer is at 12K? Is that the way to read this?
YES
So one should pay much closer to $6790 than 12K? What does the suggested list of $16,160 mean? Was that MSRP new? Thanks
Suggested List — The value listed reflects the approximate price of the unit when it is brand new. The prices listed are furnished by the manufacturer and are assumed to be correct. The list price does not include freight charges

But if you do not do all the others, at least do the smoke and Carbon monoxide detectors, it could save your life.
Amen to that!

RE: RV queen bed linens

Same here out Class C has the same called a short queen. We also use the normal sheets and tuck them in more. We also have a memory foam pad, makes the mattress thicker and more comfortable.
Ditto on the sheets & memory foam.

RE: Dry Camping - Outlets? We are New - Help

We have needed a few pieces of medical equipment for our daughter that an inverter and batteries have run in the past but now our daughter, after she gets released from her latest 6-month long hospital stay, will also need a respirator and dialysis so we are finished as far as RVing goes for the family.
Very sorry to hear this news. We will lift up prayers for your daughter, you and family.

RE: How much propane is needed?

Just remember with a 40 pounder - you will need to bring the tank to a propane company or campground be filled..... and they can be a bit on the heavy side, especially filled.

RE: What do YOU take out for winter storage?

Bedroom - Everything is emptied from ALL the closets, drawers & under the bed. Sheets & spread are washed, then put into the airtight (vacuum-type) bags and then placed in a 15 gallon tote.
Bathroom - Everything is emptied from the medicine cabinet & re-cycled into the household items - towels and rugs are washed and then follow the airtight bag & tote routine as above.
Kitchen - Everything is emptied from ALL closets - food is recycled into household items - dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc - are washed - then placed into a tote.
Living Area - TV, DVD into house (spare bedroom for winter guests) all games, cards, toys & such into a tote.
Outside storage - Everything is removed.....nothing is left in any outside cabinet.
Once all totes are organized and have fabric softener (Downy) sheets put in each they are stored in the TT - about 5 total.
Downy sheets are put throughout the interior and exterior.....Dri-Eze containers are put into the kitchen sink and the shower area.....clam bags (or old knee hi's (ask your wife) are filled with moth balls and HUNG around the outside of the TT.
DH washes roof and exterior - I clean all the interior including the rugs & oven before we tow it off to storage.
We also store in a barn, with a concrete floor....however there are many cats roaming around the farm and they sure do not look underfed (LOL).
It takes us about one full day to do all this and in the spring we have less going back into the TT ... if we didn't use it during the summer - it didn't get packed into any tote!
Been doing this routine for the past 4 years......
