RE: Any Jayco Eagle owner pull up carpet?

During the repair of a leak in my old Sunline, I had to pull up the carpet in the back and replace the padding. I found that the vinyl flooring only went under the carpet area about a foot or so. So if the carpet areas are a either end of the trailer it may not be there, Side to side it will likely be there.

RE: Saturn vs Chevrolet Cobalt

Saturn has TSB's for the timing chain followers failing on the 4 cylinder EcoTech engines on the 2001-2003 L Series. Mine failed at 150 k miles and motor had to be replaced. Have it checked if over 100K miles. Its not expensive to replace before it goes bad.

RE: Hensley Arrow objective review.

One thing I just noticed from this weekend towing my BIL's Trailer from Tenn to MD. He has the dual cam and have had the Hensley for some time. My old setup was a Reese with Friction Bar. The dual cam was not dialed in for my suburban but was close.( Using his Hitch ) Things I noticed. You feel every tug from the dual cams left to right in the wind as they try to keep the trailer straight, somthing I don't feel at all with the HA, The links must isolate it. I was in some strong wind comming thru the mountains and had it try to break loose one or twice. The dual cam did its job and kept the sway in check but you can feel it working for sure. I missed the HA on this trip. Just an observation.

RE: Suggestions for getting rid of a travel trailer...

Also someone my want it for the Frame and Axels alone to turn it into a Cargo Trailer or another type for their needs. My Local Dealer had a 5th wheel burn up on their lot due to fridge problem. They gutted it and made a Pop-Up hauler out of it. They now pickup their Pop-Ups instead of having them delivered. Any good welder could make just about anything from the frame.

RE: Montana Mountaineer TT

I also have been to the large Hershey show every year and since buying this one , I have not seen a bunk model yet that I like better. The Bathroom is one of the best I have seen in a Bunk layout trailer.

RE: Troubles with "Porpoising" F-150 Super Crew & Passport 300BH

First I would swap out the 800lb wd bars for 1000lb wd bars and see what you have. Also what is the milage on the Truck? Factory Shocks don't usually last very long. They may need replacing. Also Check Tire Pressures.

RE: Hensley Arrow - What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you unhitch it right then the angles will be set when you hook up again. Use Dry Lube and you should be good to go. I never have a problem getting it all the way in. As long as you unhitch it right. The Instruction manual has very good instructions. I have a tape line in the latch toll that tells me how high I have to lift it before loosining the WD bar jacks untill loose.
