RE: Raptor 3612 - Accessory Hatch Door

John wild bill is right, talk to a local dealer. Parts like that are available but sometimes you won't find them listed on any website as they are not profitable or high moving items.

RE: '04 All American Sport 28FB

Mike I can't say anything about the Canadian version, but I can say I don't recall any horrible stories about the American version over the years. As an 04 its been used, and if you do a detailed inspection and don't find any major issues you can probably get a good deal on it.

RE: Wireless remote rear camera??

Johnny check the distance, when I had my Raptor the distance was pushing the limitations of the wireless cameras at the time. Decided if I was keeping the Raptor I was going to hard wire one in. Plans changed, no more Raptor. I agree, hard to see any Yugo right behind you.

No problem with my rig either, do wish it was a bit higher on the dash but I've never bent it.

RE: insecure or inconsiderate

I've been on the flip side of this and on your side. Biggest suggestion I have, get to know your neighbors and mention it. When I had my first 5er I had flipped the scare light switch on and never noticed it, next day the neighbor at a campground kindly asked if I had left them on for any reason. After that I always checked. I think some units have the side scare lights tied in with the porch light. Nothing wrong with politely asking if they can dim them... that's what a sense of community is all about. If they won't turn them out, ask to see if you can change spots perhaps. Good luck!

RE: is thor still in business?

Thor is still in business, they just keep buying other companies and not using their name. Do a Google search for Thor Industries, and their site will show you all of the RV brands they own. Just bought Keystone last year, I think.
Thor Industries sold their ThorCA division to the division managers in July 2008, and was renamed to MVP. They bought Keystone way back in 2001.

Post your model number here, somebody might be able to help you. As already stated though, ThorCA/MVP is all but gone now.

RE: Building a Genturi

I used it on the Raptor, the motorhome is designed that I've not needed it so I gave it to a friend. I didn't have any marks showing, but I also made sure I wiped the suction cups off clean each time, plus the side of the trailer then stuck them on. Being damp and clean they made a great seal, and the lack of dirt/dust wouldn't mar the finish. I did also wax the RV at least once a year. Sorry you had problems with yours, did you use the clear ones?

RE: New Gulf Stream Models

For a while Gulfstream did not have a very good reputation as far as quality and service after the sale. Can't say I've heard much about them lately, but you might want to also visit the 5er and TT forums on here to see what the current impression is.

RE: Question about using for snowmobile

The spray on liners have been talked about some for ramp doors, however the key issue is the amount of weight they add. You'll need to permanently subtract the amount of weight of the liner from your available CCC. I'd check out to find out how much weight per foot its going to add. Your springs for your ramp door can probably not handle the extra weight so you'll need to beef them up.

RE: What's it worth?

Ok so using the aluminim siding then, probably with full paint. The fiberglass usually adds more value to the base price, but more weight too. Without the generator the $11-14k range is probably about right, but prices really can fall off. If it fits your needs then sounds like a good trade.

RE: Question about using for snowmobile

One guy I spoke with said he ran his up on a blue tarp. He then wrapped the front an sides of the tarp up so the water could only drain out the back by the rear loading deck.
There are a few members hear with snowmobiles you might search, then PM them.
Good luck.

RE: What's it worth?

I'm not sure about that model, may not have sold with one. Might try googleing the model # and see if you can find an old brochure in PDF or any specs.
Full body paint means that all the fiberglass has been painted, then waxed. Usually you'll find some graphics were painted or vinyl but not full body paint. I'm not sure what value this adds, I want to say about $3,000 when new.
If you don't find any listed on eBay try using one of the Craigslist search engines and see if you can find any listed there.
