RE: Why does my oven take so long to light?

It takes time for the gas to get there. I turn the knob to pilot then give it about two minutes then I get down there and it lights right up.
Hmmm, you live a little far from me, to hear the BOOM, and see the fireball !!!!!!!!!!!:E
If you have to do this to get gas down there,( after all PROPANE FALLS being heavier than air), you have some type of problem with your controls.:?

RE: Would You Consider This Orphan?

$350 - NO WAY. Start with $250K and negotiate down from there!
JMHO, but this really is an "orphan"
How do you start with 250 and negotiate down? duh!
Very excellent point. It is hard to negotiate down if they accept your $250K or any other offer.Yeah, that was a kinda dumb comment:S. I meant a MENTAL $250K as a target, but see how much lower they will go by working up to it from somewhere under $200K.
Whew........... I thought you were going to offer,250.they say sold, then you say .wait, 240, they say ok, then you say no, wait 230.... and see how far it goes!!!:B

RE: Newbie fridge prob

1.
5. There is NO heater between the lower and upper refer doors on a Dometic
Doug
http://www2.dometicusa.com/refrigerators.php?product=69
Sorry, but you are wrong...there is indeed a switch, that controls a HEATER to keep condensation down, between freezer, and fridge doors..
Mine has it, and many others
Sorry to have to correct you.

RE: TPMS 4 XMAS

I would also suggest the Presure pro, it is what I have, and would not think of towing without it, after getting a flat, (previously,):E and having no idea, it was flat.
I went with the RV 360 system, very nive. Bought it direct from Pressure pro, in Cincinati. :C

RE: Newbie fridge prob

Also, the area between the fridge, freezer being warm, it is a switch that keeps humidity from being a problem at the door seals, if the switch is on, it will be warm, but ....on 12 volt ............ it will eat up your power.
Your choice.

RE: Hot fridge, cold freezer

If there is not a wire/probe on the fins, that you can adjust, then I fear you may have a broken tube,/ system.
Do you smell Ammonia inside the fridge compartment at all ????

RE: Awning Ratchet Both Sides, why not?

Finally remembered. Here you go!
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v681/robsouth/awningrods2.jpg"
I have one better, I put a "ring" from a key chain, in that slot, put a radiator hose clamp around it, then make up a spring, from a screen door with a plastic coated cable, then a hook on each end.
Put the hook with the spring, in the loop, by the slot there, and you have just enough cable, with a hook on the end, to pull down, and hook on the bracket, at the base of the awning arm.
I will post pics , when I get a chance...easier than it sounds though. I t puts just enough "back tension" on it, so if the roller fails, it cant go anywhere.
I have seen awnings unfurl, going over the Mackinaw Bridge!!!!! :E

RE: Awning Ratchet Both Sides, why not?

LOCKS on the arms WILL NOT keep it from unfurling!!!!!!! You need to stop the roller, from moving.

Need I say more ??? If you don't, and you keep the rig for 4-7 years...........you will wish you had........if you trade every year.:E.then don't bother.

RE: Adding a 2nd battery

Yes, you should run POS to POS, and Neg to Neg.
You should be more than covered if you run 10 gauge wire.
A good way to go, is buy a "cheap" set of jumper cables, you know the kind, you find in the "tool sales". cut off the clamps, and put rings on. (that is what I did ):W
Could you put both bats next to each other, for ease, and run your wire to the orginal location??:@
Hope this helps.
