RE: Camping World Does it AGAIN! UPDATE 2/25

I can tell you from past experience that if Mr. Lemonis said it will be taken care of it will. It is a shame it has to come to that. The management at the facility should have taken care of it. I think it is ridiculous for 100 dollar an hour labor rate and 10 dollar an hour employees. But thats corporate Greed for you.

RE: OK-I'm sold on Poli-Glow...now how much do I need?

I am thinking of trying poli glow too. Those who have used it what are your thoughts? Was it worth it? Does it perform as advertised? Will it make it look a lot better until i can paint it someday?

RE: Buying an RV from Camping World...

Just make sure its right before taking delivery. I purchased mine from the St. Augustine store it started out bad but they did make everything right in the end. I would buy from them again.

RE: 2008 Winnebago Class A with Toyota Camry tail lights?

My 2000 Cheiftain has what looks like chevy van tail lights in it. I would prefer Mustang lights but as long as they are American Im a Happy Camper.

RE: Power Stroke Diesel

The powerstroke diesel is a fabulous engine. Having owned both the 6.0 and the 7.3 and putting over 100,000 miles on both with zero problems. I called Ford and asked why because I wanted a class A with the powerstroke and was told at that time that they could not keep up with demand in the pickup truck market to ever put them in class A. They are available in class C however. Ford has been developing there own diesel in Europe that I bet will eventually make it into class A's someday

RE: Workhorse and Allison Transmission vs Ford

I am a die hard Ford Fan so like wa8yxm my opinion would be biased. But GM didnt design or invent the allison trans. They had to use allison because they couldnt build there own to last. The allison is a great trans and from what I hear the 8.1 is a good engine. I would still buy a V-10 and the ford trans is a good trans but a 6 speed would be nicer and sure they will have one in the future which will be just like the allison. Just my biased .02 cents. All my cars also are genuine Ford...LOL

RE: Impressive Response From Camping World CEO

Mr Lemonis is a great guy. He contacted me personally on an issue I had and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. He kept me as a Camping World customer and is probably the main reason they are still in business. If he said he will do something he will do it I am sure.

RE: Dazed and Confused

One thing you might want to consider also is the ones that are not having problems are out driving them and not on here posting.I am sure here are a lot more on the road than are members here. Maintenance costs are much lower on a gas coach. I wanted a diesel but ended up with the F53 chassis with a V-10 and have no complaints.

RE: Our Stressfull Nightmare purchasing from Demartini RV?

This brings back so many memories. I purchased from Camping World and posted here. I got bashed and trashed for posting on a site they run. My post even got deleted or disappeard. But I am HAPPY to say They fixed everything that they originally agreed to do.We love our MH and go back to the selling dealer all the time for stuff now. Was I happy I had to come here to get it fixed No. But because of it they retained me as a customer and I will go back to Camping World and look when i am ready to upgrade. But I will be wiser next time.
So hang in there and put on your flame suit and I hope you get your issues resolved as I did.
The RV industry has a long ways to go and I hope with our help they will get there.

RE: basement ac vs roof ac?

Yes you lose some storage but it is quieter and has a heat pump. You also dont get all the water running off the roof and all the black streaks. I am used to the sound under the bed. At night I put the fan on manual and it keeps air flow and I dont notice it cycling off and on.

RE: Day light Running lights

My biggest issue it seems when its raining people with DRL"s dont bother to turn on the headlights because I assume they think the lights are on but what about the people who are coming up behind you. I think they give a false sense of security. And why in the world cant people just turn on the lights if they want them on in a situation on a dimly lit area and some two lane roads. Thats what I do I dont need the government to tell me when they should be on.LOL

My 2000 Winnie Ford Chassis has DRL I pulled the fuse also. If they cant see a motorhome coming at them in the daylight they shouldnt be driving.
