I have the select comfort and love it for adjustability. The minus are as Dave pointed out, but his weight does Yo-Yo, and because your elevation changes every time you use it, the settings do too..
I have mine hooked into an inverter so I can use it without the generator if needed.

Refresh my memory, I know somewhere there were directions.
Having camped on the Salton Sea many times and done some 4X4 excursions east of Hwy 111 from the State Park Area and some Duck hunting at Wister area, where is this place in relation to the State Park and Bombay beach area (thats where I am familiar with)

Just East of there.. Stay on the 111 about 3 miles past Bombay Beach and then make a left and head towards the hills!

Luke I called Dave and warned him.. He said some were about 3 feet deep when he went through!
By the way, sorry we didn't say good bye, but I was too interested in getting on the road and getting home!!
It was great to meet some new people from here and go for a ride!! Thanks all for making it fun!!

Is slab city all desert no Cops?
What the peeps like in Salb city r they getting more visitors since the movie?

Did David get there i spoke to him Friday.?
Pool was very nice, warm in the corners and perfect in the middle!! They pump hot spring water into the pool!
Didn't make it to Slab city!! next time
Dave made it, we camped next to them, as usual!!

FYI to those of you who have not been to the KOA before-
Highway 111 has some fairly good humps on it- Just take it easy on the way down. When you make the turn off the 111 onto Hot Mineral Spa Road- really slow down- It has some fairly rough spots if you are going fast. Everything is smooth asphalt just some pretty good dips and humps.
I am gonna try and get out of the Pasadena area around 2:30 tomorrow.
Pasadena???? Come pick me up please!!! I'll be on the corner of St John's and Colorado waiting for you!!!

Don't sweat the hijack.
It looks like we may be diverting to another location nearby (closer to the Rally camp) to meet up with some of my wife's clients.
How's this sound?
Her: "Honey, I want to try a different spot where some of my clients are camping. Are you cool with that?"
Me: "Sure. Desert is desert. Will I like the clients?"
Her: "Sure. You always do. By the way, don't forget that our daughter has a formal military ball on Friday night and I'm attending Congressman McKeon's 'Women in Business' conference on Saturday morning, so we'll meet you out there some time around 4:00 on Saturday, ok?"
Me: "So I have to call one of your clients and tell him that we're diverting to another camp to meet another one of your clients and that you won't be there until the next evening? You trust me to entertain your clients for 24 hrs without you?"
Her: "Sure. Those guys always love you."
Me: "You trust me and a full cooler and full liquor cabinet to watch the kids and entertain two different clients without you there to supervise me...?"
Whatever. At least that means the trip (and all the food & booze & gas) is a tax write-off.
So why not hijack the thread? My lovely wife hijacked the trip. :B
I say you get a paycheck as party director for your DW company...
