RE: Separating stop and turn signals on a trailer

You can do this all on the trailer with what is called a tailight converter. They are hard to find. Want you want is a 2-3 converter. Their input is from a combined tow vehicle to separate trailer functions. Do not confuse with a 3-2 as they are for separate on tow vehicle and combined on trailer. http://www.berrylandcampers.com/rv-parts/new-used/Heavy-Duty-Relay-Style-2-3-Converter-p-9057.html

RE: Chains or Traction Tires

Yes, I carry chains. Yes, I have been asked at check point to see if I had them. Yes, you have to carry tire chains for your toad. I would never put them on but I do carry them. October 1 to April 1

RE: Air bags

Air bags are funny! They will last longer if no rocks get flipped up and get caught between it and the coil springs. The factory bags do not last as long as Firestone replacements. Factory bags were black. Make sure you fill them according to the manual. I think mine has 85 pounds. To me they do not last very long. Maybe five years with normal use.

RE: Propane detector model 7773 from CCI

This model does not have a solenoid for a gas valve operation. What is the condition of your batteries and are you connected to shore power/ Do you have a single power source to the detector or a dual? One red from chassis and one from coach power system. Has you dog farted on the sensor? Check for good ground and power to the sensor. Furnace cycling could cause power to drop enough to cause sensor to trip. http://www.safehomeproducts.com/shp2/data/manuals/7773.pdf

RE: Refrigerator problem

The circuit board is not seeing the refer flame. This could be a couple problems. Is the gas on? Has the problem just started? Could be air in the lines and needs to get purged out. Flame sensor probe is not in the flame. Check and adjust. Bad circuit board.

RE: Fleetwood Jamboree Nightmare

Someone is full of brown stuff! Find another dealer and call Fleetwood directly. The vent tube should be sealed up close to the water fill location. The vent tube then has a screen or plug to prevent kicking water out.

RE: Taking the ferry to Juneau

I would choose either Skagway or Haynes. Leave your rig at one of those locations and do a walk on. http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/routes.shtml

RE: Wiring of new converter

The one from Best Converter would be a good choice.

RE: Wiring of new converter

I think you have the wrong converter. You should have got one like this. http://www.parallaxpower.com/7300/7300pwrcntr.pdf You could make the one you have work by getting a distribution fuse block assembly. Such as the six position on this site. http://www.primeproducts.com/viewcategory.php?id=6 There is better ones available at marine stores that have a main fuse. They do cost more but have advantages. They have a ground bar, individual blade style fuses and the main fuse. http://marinco.com/product/atoatc-fuse-panels

RE: Anti-theft propane tank post got me thinking....

Access to the propane shut offs should not be locked. This is to allow tanks to be shut off in an emergency. Tanks can be locked to prevent theft.

RE: No battery power?

I would bet it has suffered severe corrosion that has caused failure. Some circuit breakers for marine application has a little more protection. You could also try to protect it from the enviroment. Most have soft steel bi-metal as the operator for overcurrent protection. They just rust out.

RE: Wanapum State Park, WA

I doubt you will have any problems. Been cool last few nights, in the mid 20s. Not many people on the lake.

RE: No battery power?

Sounds like the circuit breaker as pianotuna says. It is there to protect your rig not to protect the battery. Look closely for amperage.

RE: What size inverter

You will have to look at the TV in question. It will gives watts or amp requirement. Amps times voltage gives watts. I would go with an inverter at no less then 125% of the number. I am guessing around 400 watt unit.

RE: Do you think............

Base model yes, but once you add options it will gain weight. http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-25-38-5694-0-0-0&l=1&w=25&p=38&f=5697&m=0113&y=1995&ml=C&gc=RV>c=TT&d=2300013167

RE: speed / rpm question

There other variables. What size tires are you running/ Measure circumfance and then you can compute it out. I would guess with a three speed transmission you will be running around 2500-2800 RPM.
