What are you driveing gas? motor ect Sounds Maybe like the 8.1 and that happened to me. The plug on the gas pedal was loose. Pluged it in tight and all has been good for over two years.

Is it the same with dish????
You can't get "your" local channels more than about 100-150 miles from home. When traveling to CA from your home in say Maine, you have to use the antenna to get the local stations where you happen to be in.
My best advise is to just take one of the receivers out of your house and hook it up in the rv. DO NOT call Directv or they'll get it all screwed up. I've gon e round and round with them more than once about this.

help understanding dish net
I only have a single lbm on the motorhome. I want to use dishnet in IL at my home and say inaz when we travel. Understand I can only get one sat at a time but does anyone know what channels I would get from what sat. Also when I talked to dish they told me that if I installed it in my home that I would only recieve signal with in say a hundred miles of my home. Totally confused Help Please

Ok it is now working. I called Wineguard and had their tech walk me through the set-up. He was much better than the Dish Tech's I have spoken too over the years. I was showing "switch sw34" and he said that was indeed wrong, so he walked me through a bunch of steps and now it is working and on sat 119. I am not getting every single channel I get inside the house but I am getting most of them and all the ones that are important to us.
And I do agree on not telling Dish that it is in a M/H. I always tell them I am in my house.
Thanks all for your advice.

Am looking for a three lmb
Planning on switching from directv to disgnet and will need a three lmb cranlup dish for on top of the motorhome. Any help on which one I should get and were I should get it? Don't want to pay the $1300 for auto ect thanks

Weve done just that. I even put weights on the bottom to hold it in place. Works great for winter or summer driving and we drive with coats off and very conterforable

Do not look for a valid answer here on this forum, as you will not get one. Call or go down to your local DMV/drivers license bureau and speak to a supervisor. Every state has its own little quirks in the law, when it comes to drivers license and what is required for which.

Cracked fiberglass
The fiberglass is cracked on my MH. This crack is from a screw of the hot water heater and is small but don't want it to run so I believe I should fill it. What should I fill it with?

DW loves ours. Yes small loads but she hates landry mats. I have to pull ours to work on it and it looks like I have to pull the facing off the cabent to just get the unit out. Fun and games

Mine didn't work from new. I ran a wire outside the MH from the dish to the directv box and found it did work that way. Fleetwood put about fourty feet of wire and four connections in between the dish and the reciever. I used that wire to pull a new wire and dish works. But the dish I have only has one head and I can't recieve all channels and outside of a hundred miles of my home I get no local chanels. Am planning on switching to dishnet and am trying to understand what local channels are to them. Ditectv wants $14 a month to get locals for the MH and that would nean channels from La or New York. Also my dish will not work with dishnet so I would have to replace the dish with a new one.

I had the same thing and what I did was to fill the bowl completely and flush. In my case some of the paper did not go down all the way. We were in Az when it happened and worked well for the last week and a half on the way home
