RE: New Job Pics

I'll look for it the next time we are there.... The "Polar's" take up the entire wharf! Pretty impressive

RE: New Job Pics

I've seen that ship! They go to the oil refinery beside our friends beach house in Sandy Point.... They are HUGE ships.

RE: TT Upgrade 13.5 -> 15 kBTU, Genny Problem?

1-Buy a second genny and link them together.(not sure if Yamaha can do this)
2-Buy a TT with a smaller AC
3-Maybe try a fantastic fan
4-use the new TT as a sweat lodge!

RE: new vs used

Even though ours is "used" it is still under warranty and we have the option to purchase the extended.

RE: new vs used

We just happened across a used TT at an RV dealer, it was purchased last April and traded in the fall for a new 5er. Looks new, smells new and 10K cheaper than a new one. We are very happy with it

RE: Out of province medical coverage

We have reciprocal agreements with all provinces except Quebec. All you need to do is present your Care Card(BC) and the Drs. office bills that province directly

RE: Generator Size

A 3000W genny is really loud. If you are near other campers you won't (they) want to run one. If you are in the middle of no where then maybe.

RE: Water Pressure Regulator

First, be sure your rig does not have a built in regulator already. Many newer and high end models do. Then, just be aware that the cheaper models do the job, but restrict water flow as well as pressure. If you like a nice, high flow shower in the morning, spend money on a better, adjustable pressure control. Interesting about built in water regulators. We have always used one hooked to the hose. We just bought a new TT and the dealer gave us a new one. We've used the TT twice now and both times we had to take it off as there was just not enough pressure. We have camped at the one campsite lots of times with the old TT and never had a problem with the regulator... I guess I now know why! Always learn something new on the forum! Thanks

RE: dry camping

Don't know about secluded but we went to Fort Langley for the "shake down" Hardly anyone there and close (fairly) to the dealer in case of a major melt down.... there wasn't!

RE: Awning Mat

Wouldn't be without the mat. We got our new one at Camping World, they don't kill the grass, and it keep the trailer cleaner.

RE: Which shade canopy/tent

We "had" a quick shade, it was great! We put it under the trailer and forgot about it when we left! It can withstand a lot of wind but not a trailer running it over!! Very easy to set up you won't go wrong

RE: Cougar vs Montana

We haven't owned either but have looked at both. There is no comparison between the Montana and the Cougar. The Montana is a much higher end RV than the Cougar, at least the one we looked at.

We have the same problem, sounds like it's from the passenger side front window. Will have to check the bug shield

RE: What size generator?

The Yamaha 2400 will MAYBE handle your AC. Mine doesn't. If I had to do it all over again, I'd purchase (2) Honda 2000's. They're easier to move around, and most of the time I would only need one of them. I also store my TT off site, and having an easy to haul Honda 2000 would have been a much better option for working out and about.
Live and learn.
Completely agree, we have one Honda EU2000, love it! Doesn't run the AC but we don't really need it on the coast

RE: Rear door entry trailer

Hmm, I'd have to see that. We have a rear entry but the foor is on the side. This would be like a truck camper. Again I'd have to see it first
