RE: I 95 in South Carolina is dangerous to air bags!

We found 95 in SC to be much improved(there is a post in roads and routes)when we went to FL. last month.
I have to agree about the air for the step cover, when cold mine will leak at the pump, but traveling seems to be fine.

RE: Toilet help

Thanks for all the response so far! The top area of the riser, also carpeted, where all the connections for the main supply and sprayer are is dry.
I tend to lean toward the supply connections from floor level being only the bottom edge of the riser carpet got wet. The supply makes about 4 turns to go in and out of the riser to the toilet. So what matchs up to the blue lines used thats available at Home Depot? Are adaptors available if a fella was inclined to redo this "out side the box ?
Thanks again

Toilet help

Well, got a leak that I can't find. While in Florida last week noticed the carpet around the bottom of the riser that the commode sits on was damp at the bottom, where it meets the tile floor. Of course the water supply goes inside the riser and up and out to the commode, Sealand model 511 w/spray. All is dry around the base of the commode where it meets the top of the riser.
Are there any other connections, other than water in that could leak? When I removed the commode,I see what looks to be a wax ring and plumbing straight shot to the holding tank.
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Congrats to S Carolina and 95 thru Richmond

On our trip to Fl last week, we prepared for the stretch of 95 in SC, after getting beat to death the last 2 yrs. to our delight, southbound was great, nb, almost as great.
On the other hand, avoid 95 thru Richmond. I hate the extra miles and time going around 295, but the road thru town is awful!

RE: word of caution for all owners

So true! Brought the bus home yesterday from the garage where she sleeps and noticed the volt/amp meter was acting goofy. Have done all my winter maintainence and we are leaving tomorrow night for Florida.
Upon investagation, I found the upper bolt ready to come out of the alt. mount, and a loose connection that was the cause. This gave me cause to look even closer than I already have at all things mechanical with no other findings.
Much easier to fix at home, than on the side of 95

RE: DP Air Intake Question

Compressed slightly is an understatement. Do you see any reason it would have to be that way? Looks like it was stepped on during install, or does it have to be like that for a drawer in the nightstand.
You could call Monaco and talk to a tech. I would think it would be restrictive, but does your gauge say so?

RE: cold weather

When we travel to FL. in Febuary, we play the same game. I fill with water, water heater on, furnace on, and until we leave have a droplight in the basement water compartment. When we leave, of course the droplight is left behind and its a******shoot, but always carry a heat gun, if it does freeze before you get where it is warm, gentle heat gun use will prevail, not much fun, but it does the job.
Good Luck!

RE: Winter driving

Last year when we came home from FL. the 1st week of March we had a foot of snow in the driveway. DW asked how are we going to get in as we arrived at the house. Much to my surprise our bus went right up the drive with no problem,of course then I shovled snow for an hour before we unloaded the bus. I believe with the motor weight on the drive axle, you will be ok. Good Luck!
