RE: Hydraulic Jack maintenance

I have a 2004 DSDP with HWH and have had my springs replaced per the factory recommendations but I still use silicone spray about once per month on the springs. Seem to work much better after spraying. Don

RE: Good Sam Emergency Asst. Med. Plus

I have had the GS medical assist for the past 4-5 years and hope I never have an occasion to use it. It does seem to be very worthwhile since my wife doesnt drive our DSDP and God forbid anything happen to me she would be stuck until one of our children could come to her aid. We both feel better having it so I guess that is what is important. just MHO...Don

RE: Best big rig route from Black Hills, SD to W Yellowstone, MT

Have visited Yellowstone on 3 occasions. Each time entered from Cody and never had a problem with roads or traffic. My rig was 36' and pulling a jeep grand cherokee. We stayed at Fishing Bridge campground and recommend it but you MUST have reservations. Also agree with a previous post to take the tour offered in the park. The host does a wonderful job of telling History etc of the park. It is my favorite National Park and I would go again in a heartbeat. Take your time and enjoy. It is truly a wonderful experience. Happy trails...Don

RE: GMC Acadia as towed

We tow 08 Outlook. Have U.S. Gear for brake system. Very trouble free and easy to use. This is the second rig I have had with US Gear. Recommend it. Don

GMAC Insurance Renewal WOW

Just recd my insurance renewal for my 2004 DSDP and WOW. I switched to GMAC in 2006 and they have increased each renewal period. Just small increases so I sucked it up and paid. I backed into a Tree stump this year while on a trip to Texas and damaged the rear bumber. The insurance co. gave me a point for having an accident, I understand that but a 50% increase is TOO much. I called and they said that is the reason for the increase. No injury or other vehicle involved but they are really trying to get their paid out repair cost back in a hurry. Well they wont get it from me. Can you'all recomment another insurance to try. I had switched from State Farm for the replacement coverage offered by GMAC but the time is now up and the premium to high. Help Please... Thanks in advance... Don

RE: Anybody familiar with CampClub USA?

Joined this year for a trip to/thru Texas. We used it in Arizona,New Mexico and Texas. No problems. Was pleasantly surprised. Like has been said before you must check their restrictions however we found that by calling ahead and asking re: availability we were never turned down or restricted. Like all things buyer beware. We found it useful. Saved us $$$. Don

We have a DSDP and the whole house filter is in the water bay where you will your tank. We also have one under the kitchen sink. Not sure where yours is but should be somewhere in the water bay I would think. Good luck... Don

RE: Snow chains

We are in California and in Ca. if you drive the Sierras in the Winter months you must carry chains. Law doesnt say you got to put them on so I carry mine. BG

RE: Don't try Glacier Park for a while.

Burro, I think you meant April 15th. Its not May 15th yet. hehe. Or I dont believe its May yet. Could be wrong tho as the older I get the faster time goes. Clark canyon res. must be getting pretty full I hope. Will be up there for some Elk hunting and good fishin on Clark and The Beaverhead & up at Ruby res.Has been pretty low the past couple years.

RE: Gutter ends, anyone install them?

The ones I installed were just snap ons. No drilling required. Bought at Camping W. and they have been on and doing their job for 3-4 years now. I would not drill and re revit anything. Just asking for trouble. IMHO Don
