If you could negotiate a 28% discount going in then 11% loss the first year is not bad in my opinion.

We are preparing to buy a Mandalay and need to feel comfortable with how hard we are going to be able to push the dealer.

If we place an order for a new unit just like we want what is the range you would think we can do.

If the dealers margin is 28% as mentioned in the previous post I can't see how he would be willing to go that far.

I've read in other posts to try to go 25% to 28% off MSRP. Based on the experiance of others members can this be done?

If I go on the internet and end up ordering this unit not from my local dealer but one several states away, would service work at the local dealer who did not end up selling it to you suffer.

To be honest I would be willing to pay a couple thousand more to have the goodwill and extra humph of having purchased it where the warranty work will be done which is nearby.

Anyones experiance on how much off the MSRP they were able to negotiate would be wonderful.

I'm wondering if they are more likely to deal now before the season has really heated up or if the time of the year doesn't affect how willing they are to deal?

We have only rented up to now and this will be our first purchase so we will be talking straight dollars, no trade involved.

I can't thank the members of this forum enough for all the information I have already gotten.
