Winniechief:Thanks! Hadn't thought of this possibility. Ill be crawling underneath today. Could be the problem because the first hard stop with this rig came just after Id had the trailer in to a shop which was going to convert my spring pack from under to over and bailed out because they didn't know what to do with shocks. Maybe they got something out of place. (Trailer/Dodge/Voyaguer were fine on tow just before this one when I went to Chev/Prodigy)

For those of you who look at these posts, let me put in a good word for TEKONSHA. They have been very attentive and as helpful as they can be at the moment; they are inspecting my unit, sending me a replacement even though its obvious the controller may not be at fault. Good company!!

Have you checked the Fifth wheel to see if the jaws around king pin are tight, if not when you stop trailer king pin will float, when you just use your trailer brake pin will be forced back against jaw so won't move, I know on big trucks you can adjust fifth wheel for wear not sure on RV.
