I was reading a post about non resident fishing license and I have a question! I have a friend whom is also an RVing buddy ask me a question, I don't know the answer. Is a 100% disabled vet exempt from purchasing a fishing license in all states as he is in his home state

Nope. Each state sets it's own rules. Some do, some don't.

Oregon requires you to be a resident for at least six months before you can get one.

I am a 100% disabled vet, and every state I have been to and fished in , give free fishing, hunting license to me. Im sure there are some that need the money more than the respect of a vet, but I havent found it yet.

Good luck and thanks for the service.

Virginia requires one, but they charge very little for disabled resident, they have no provision for disabled non-resident that I could find on their website...

WTTCS, are you saying that as a non-resident you get free fishing rights in states you are visiting?

I am aware of most/many states having this for residents, but personally know of none that extend it to non-residents.

Could you please list the states that have allowed this? I am sure lots of folks here would love that information.
