I had to buy a new computer, the old one just died. I had downloaded a link for a free spell checker a few years ago on this site. Does anyone know of this and is it still available ?

Thanks Ed

Aktravler:
Thank you very much, that iespell is exactly what I wanted. I already installed it and it went right to my IE toolbar. I already had a spell checker on Microsoft Works, but I wanted one on IE to check all posts and e mails. It works great.
Again thanks. Ed

All spell checkers will tell you if a word is misspelled but what if you choose the wrong word and spell it correctly? Then where are you?

Firefox has a built in spell checker that works very nicely.

Outlook Express (if you use it) makes use of MS Office's built in spell checker. If you are not running MS Word then the spell check function in OE is gone. As other posters have noted - Google search and you can find a number of free app's that place a spell check in OE.
