First would be to get the facts straight . They're Korean manufactured tires. I run Hankooks as drive tires on my tow vehicle and have had no problems. Couldn't say the same for GY. They are, as of 2006, the 7th largest global tire manufacturer.

Son bought a new Ford F-150 4x4 that has Hankook tires. Only has it about a month. Tires made in Korea. I know nothing else other that I tried to get him to wait until I got to Delaware so I could help him buy a Chevrolet. He wouldn't wait. Don't know what I did wrong in raising him.

The guys in Canada that have had smart cars for a number of years are very high on Hankook "Ice Bears" - they say they are great snow tires.

Sounds like you did a great job in raising such a fine, intelligent Ford-loving young lad.

When I bought our Michelin's the dealer recommended the Hancook's. He said most of the truckers he sells to uses them on their trailers.

We have run through a set of Hankook's on our minivan and are on the second set. They have worn well, and appear to be tough enough to handle our gravel road.

World of difference in tire life at -15 and +100. I have never seen a snow tire blow at -15, but I sure have seen lots of blown tires at +100 degrees!
