looked at new rv's(5th's) last winter. Seems they all had the new LCD tv attachment on the door side near the basement compartment. You would have to wire the cable or satellite near that. thought it was a cool idea. I don't know what they attachemtn is called, but best buy/Future shop have something similar-saw them in the store-the kind you hang on the wall at home. Dona

I have one in my 5th wheel. Some detail:
  • 26" Jensen LCD
  • Mounted on Double Omni Arm
  • Folds flat against wall for storage
  • Straps hold it tight to wall
  • Arm allows TV to swing fully out of storage bag
  • Bay door can be pulled down to act as sun and very-light rain shade
  • Two 2x4s were doubled up behind the wall to provide a reinforced surface to lag bolt arm bracket to
  • HDMI jack mounted in wall
  • HDMI cable run to bedroom satellite receiver
  • UHF remote used for satellite receiver
  • Batwing antenna connected to set
  • Philips DVD player Velcroed to ceiling of storage area
  • DVD connected to set via HDMI 2 input

Works very well

jbeletti,

You either have a bunch of drinking buddies or your a sales rep with that many huggies.

By the way nice set up! I did mine pretty much the same way.

jbeletti you call that camping? I'm not sure what you call it, but I want to do the same thing as you. So when can you come and do mine? If you want you can come when Kevin does my brake job. We are having beer and popcorn and more beer. Man that is a GREAT JOB you did. Well I got to go now to buy my NEW TV from Walmart. Maybe I'll do a little Walmart camping. lol
