I recently installed Stable Loads on my F350 and what a difference. As advertised my overload springs are in use. I found a much more stable ride and only using about 15lbs of air in the ride-rites. Its great as the airbags have fallen out of favor with me.
The set-up with the Ranchos are a great match. Its a level ride and would definately recommend them and it took less than 30 minutes to install.
PS. I don't work for Torklift; couldn't afford the cross country commute.

I've been thinking about putting longer bump stops on my truck for years. I never seem to get around to it.

If I had factory overloads, that is the first modification I would make.

Stable Loads work for my Dodge 3500 with no airbags.
I like NOT having the airbags.

Just finished installing my stable loads on my 1999 F250, dropped the air in the bags to 20 lbs and going to load the TC tomorrow and try it, the installation was a piece of cake and hoping they work as well as you say.

What other options for me are there if my '97 F250 Heavy Duty doesnt have the factory over load spring setup installed? My rear end supension has the factory installed rubber bumper installed. I do have the Firestone air bag kit installed, and my truck does have the factory front leaf springs. Are overload springs very hard to install if I went that route?
Thanks,
KA

They are just finishing field trials on the GM/Chevy versions. According to Jay Taylor, their new sales manager, they should be available by Christmas.

Thanks,
KA There are several aftermarket overload springs available. I think Hellwig makes one that is really popular. They simply bolt on top of your existing springs. You would probably have to remove your air bags and then re-install them after the springs were in. In the past, I have always gone to a local suspension shop and just had them install some for me. I have never paid more then $150 for a set although the last pair I bought was 5 years ago. I am surprised that a 3/4 ton truck doesn't have overloads.

I saw a remark about glad to get away from airbags. I just ordered AirLift system (to control some wobble) and got a heck of a deal. What is the downside to having airbags except for the possibility of ripping one on an extreme offroad situation? My system will have an oboard wireless compressor to control each bag separately. I expect these bags could be transparent to me unloaded by just airing them down? Whereas with my relatively lightweight camper, I will get less wobble and better offroad feel?
