Sorry az99. I took the part about you saying that the airbag opposite the compressed unit actually 'helping' exacerbate the 'roll' as meaning that it makes the roll situation worse than stock. Sorry that I misunderstood you.

I have little doubt that the 19K springs are the better route, but the cost of that upgrade will more than likely make many folks look for other (less costly) alternatives. That is definitely the reason I did the airbag install. I already had them sitting around, so it was a 'cheap' solution for me (albeit, likely less effective than the 19K springs).

My coach handles very well just the way that it is. As I have said before I don't have the adverse driveability that a lot of folks here are relating. For the size of the coach I was amazed at just how roadable it is. What I want to accomplish with air bags is to subdue the body roll when entering or exiting a cross street or driveway with a shallow gutter. These ingress and egress situations are done at very low speeds, just rolling off the brakes. Otherwise I don't have a problem. I am leaving Tues for an extended trip and will let all know if I have had my mind changed or experienced some of the effects related in previous threads.

Side bar.....All I have spoken to who have installed bags say that they have had substantially better handleing results with them. It certainly can't hurt. My coach road loaded sits level and does not sag. It is not mushy in the back and feels well connected. My only complaint is a klunk in the front springs when they unload side to side turning through a shallow gutter at slow speeds and there doesn't seem to be a fix for that.

A/C, this is the only issue I have also. Otherwise it handles ok.

Thanks Doug. I know that there are plenty of folks out there with no issues what so ever. I have the kit and am trying to round up the tools to remove the gosh awful tight lug nuts. I'm going over to Six States and get an over the road truck "T" bar and a fence post and see it that does the trick. The install looks pretty simple.

You never said what was the cost for the 19k springs? I am in the same situation in which my coach is hanging low in the back of the RV. It is so low that it is resting of the bump stops. I have a 33 foot model and wonder if I should put the 19K springs. I have 13,500 springs. I am trying to find some type of direction. Could you give me your part number and price for the 19K springs.

The bags are installed. A commercial tire shop in town let me use some tools. A 30mm 3/4 drive socket and extention along with a 120 to 540lb. torque wrench. If you don't know, the torque on those good looking Alcoas is 400 plus ft.lbs. Couldn't have done it without those puppies.
Anyway I got them pumped up to 70lbs for a leak check and at that pressure it has tammed the the body roll. I will be doing further testing just to see what pressure will be the best. Boy am I tired. I'm to old for this. I have AAA and if I have a problem with a tire I will be on the phone as I am not going to pull them again.

Good job. After removing my tires for the bag install. I upgraded my road service to Coachnet. Both times AAA came out they did not have the equipment to remove anything bigger than a pickup truck tire.

Sorry no pics. Its pretty straight forward. You would think that AAA would have the tools to do a job. I guess that you have to remind them that these things are not pickup trucks.
