Methinks Mrs. Sokol needs to drive an hour north and pay a visit to Bass Pro Shops. She would definitely benefit from a screen room and lounge chairs, a shower tent with porta potti and solar (or propane heated) shower, maybe a 1000w Yamaha generator (tuck it back in the trees where no one can hear it) to power a little tv/dvd player. There are lots of creature comforts available to be enjoyed when car camping.

Just because we're "immersed in nature" doesn't mean we can't enjoy modern technology. If God didn't want us to bring our "toys and gadgets" camping He'd have seen to it we still hunted woolly mammoths and lived in caves.

That article was written a year ago. I wonder if she has her RV, yet?
