Have 25FT or so 30 amp cord and have no idea if I would likely need any more.
Also am I likely to need a 50 to 30 adapter?

Yes on the adapter. Is the 25' or more 'attached'to RV or Xtra cord?? I carry a 25' 30amp extension -- only used once but sure needed it then.

When we had a 30 amp service we carried a 30' 30 amp extension cord and a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter and they both came in handy a few times especially the extension cord.

I have 30 amp service and have never needed an adapter to 50 amp, except in the long term park I just left, which was actually a mobile home park with some RV sites, they only had 50 amp plugs. One to step down to 15 amps, yes. I have also needed once or twice my 30 foot extension.

The 50 amp to 30 amp adapter would be first on my list but I eventually purchased an extra 30 amp extension cord and have used it sparingly.

Have used them both on a couple of occasions. Wouldn't be without either...you never know and they really don't take up that much storage space or weight.

Thanks Y'all. Just trying not to personally revive the economy. Now-to find a good deal on each.

I am surprised to see people recommending the 50 amp adapter.

Have you all really found sites with only a 50 amp outlet?

Isn't your Puma 30 amp? If so, I don't think you will need an adaptor to plug into a 50 amp. Most parks, with the exception of a few resorts catering to big rigs, have 30 amp service. I would hold off on the adaptor until you really need it. We are 30 amp and have never needed to plug into 50, but then we are more of the state park/KOA crowd.

Something that came in handy is the 10' extension cord I made....used mine 6-7 times last year and 2 times this year.
