Has anybody here ever replaced a dinette in your Class C with a fold up (connected to the wall) table and regular chairs (like in some Class A's)?
How big a job was it?
Where did you get the new furniture?

We have an A but it's all the same. We ripped out the bench dinette (what a useless waste of space they are)and bought a free standing folding table and stackable guest style chairs - this really opened up the galley area plus we can move set up the table forward for playing cards or even outside and folded against the fridge wall against the stacked chairs the area is much more open and multi-functional.

One question is, where is your water tanks. I have one under each dinette seat. I would imagine yours aren't there, or you wouldn't be considering this swap.

I would like to get rid of the dinette too - but we would lose the storage space under the seats. Maybe in a few years when the kids are gone, then we won't be taking so much *stuff* with us!

I kept the benches and recovered and then replaced the wall hung table with a special one made by Amish on a small pedestal. Use some pre cut bds if using as a daybed and move the table as I secured the top with velcro not screws.
