I use a Honda 3000 and it runs everything in the trailer.

2 Honda EU2000's one a companion with a 30 amp locking recepticle. This setup will power up everything. By far in my opinion the most quiet inverter out there. Not cheap but worth every penny, when it's 95 outside you have the A/C crancked and you can't hear them running priceless.
I don't know about the guy who runs his loud generator at the appropriate time. Loud is loud day or night.

We bought a great little gen set that we keep on our truck. Very quiet and we've never had one complaint on the noise (we do charge during the right hours.)
I'd recommend a Honda 3000. It ran everything in our 30' trailer.
Our trailer is for sale, but not having much luck selling it, but as soon as it goes, then the gen set will be sold. Good luck on your purchase. J

Sounds as if a small and quiet ~500 watt genset would be more than enough to recharge your batteries during the day.

Assuming you actually have a (45A=600W) converter I doubt if you would be using the FULL output during the daytime. If you think your would, or even something close, then go for the 1000W genset range.

thanks everyone for the responses. I think we'll probably go for a Honda 2000. I could use the AC sometimes but not essential. really looking for something to run the lights and charge the battery for evening / quiet time usage.

thanks,
Jim

I just purchased the Yamaha EFI 2800i for $1,339 plus free shipping. Had great reviews. Will see how it works in a few days
