Just wanted to drop a "thank you" to all of you who've posted and/or responded, debated aggressively (argued) and shared your knowledge and experiences.

As a brand new RV'er with a young family, newly arrived home from back to back deployments with the Army's mighty 101st Airborne Division, wounded and missing a rib now.........

Your committment to this resourceful site has influenced many of my major and minor RV decisions. SO I thank you for keeping the Landen family safe on the road this summer as make our move from Ft Drum, NY to Ft Lee, VA. Reason for move? As the doc told me, "my life as an Infantryman is over", "those arent your men anymore First Sergeant Landen". "Time to move on to other things the Army has for you". Tough pill to swallow as all of my boys are in afghanistan right now. I feel every death and wound and there have been plenty. We've lost 10 dead and 12 major wounds since Feb. SO, I dont care what the doc says, I'll move on, but those Soldiers are mine until they make it home. I may have no way to prove "ownership" but I sure do care about them and my prayers are with them.

Thanks again folks,enjoy the 4th

Sincerely,

1SG Todd D. Landen

Dude...what can anyone say...except a heartfelt and sincere THANK-YOU! As the United States firmly looks ahead towards a prosperous and peaceful future for ourselves and our children, as always we find ourselves in debt to our Brothers, Sisters, Fathers, Mothers and other friends and family that served and gave their all for our Country! Happy and Blessed American Independence Day!

Thanks Sarge! What a great post. I'll be helping you remember those you left to fight and also praying for their safe return home. I pray God's richest blessings for you and your family.
