The shower knobs on my stall shower turn too freely. I have a new Sunset Trail, 26RB. When you are moving the hose and sprayer around it often hits the knobs and it changes the setting. There is nothing worng with the unit because it doesn't leak. Is there a way of making them tighter and not so easily turned? Going from hot to ice cold during a shower isn't fun.

Hi take the knob to a hardware store and look at his selection of o-rings . You may be able to find one that you can stuff in behind the knob and the shaft ,it will create friction . You would have to purchase different thickness ,but they are cheap.

In the center of each knob, under the H or the C, there is a screw that holds the knob on. Remove the H and/or C and tighten the screw some to see if it tightens the knob.

It depends on the construction of the faucet. On some, you can remove the knob, then tighten the nut. This compresses the seal. Others, there isn't anything you can do.
