Howdy,

Will be exiting I-30 and heading north on AR7 next week, and want to top off the tank around this point. Looking at Google Maps, there is a FINA truck stop just north of I-30 on the right side of AR7. Do we have a local in the Caddo Valley area that can verify the truck stop is still there, or suggest another truck stop in the area?

Thanks,
Luke

The are several truck stops on I-30. How far north are you going on Hwy 7? North of Rusellville I-40 & hwy 7 there is a long steep down grade going into Jasper

First stop will be Lake Ouachita SP, then up to Petit Jean. Wanted to take on fuel before stopping at Lake O.

Unless something has changed there is also a Valero there with diesel island in the back.

Go on up to Hot Springs just a few miles further to fuel up. You have to go throught there to get to Ouachita SP. It will probably be cheaper than anything on the Insterstate. Have fun!!

At the Caddo Gap exit there are several places to fill up. I wouldn't worry about fuel, we aren't as backwards as some might think and actually have filling stations in the mtns.

This almost the same trip we are taking. We will arrive at Lake Catherine on Tuesday then we go to Petite Jean on Sunday.

When are you going to Petite Jean?
