I was at the Nissan dealer today getting my Armada middle row seatbelt adjusted, and the owner was talking to me about Titan/Armada sales. He actually said he has a lot of interest in the vehicles, but the factory is still catching up from the productions cuts. He too said sales/demand for both have been up. He also said he has not seen anything from the factory on canceling the Armada. He could be blowing smoke, but it is good to see sales up for the Titan.

I agree with your post, guess I should have been more specific. I was talking more along their truck line. I believe they should either build the Chevrolet or the GM or a GM Chevrolet. Badging two different trucks, to me, is a waste of money, but what do I know, I didn't get any stimulus package, then declare bankruptcy, and get away with both

In the whole scheme of things the badging isn't that much different that the cost adds up to much.

I agree that a redundant truck line doesn't make sense, but there are people that will buy the GMC over the Chevy thinking that they are getting something that isn't offered on the other.

Luke the Dodge discount was with the employee pricing added in also. GM/Chevy was about the same discount here in town as Dodge and Ford.

Just telling you what was avaibale in my area when I was shopping---you obviously don't know.

Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

Well as far as anyone knows your nowhere or at lest you don't say where you are. My point was that Chrysler was giving employee pricing to everyone along with all other discounts. Here in Ohio and Mich Ford and GM where doing the same only they did not show the EP discount in their adds (at lest not in this area). Hell last month you could have bought a 1500 reg cab LB V-8 Chevy/GM for 12,999.00 out the door and it was nicely equipped power, air , tilt and cruise.

Now they are offering 0% over 72 months + all discounts, add the news media gloom and doom and we wounder why the auto makers (all of them) have to give away their vehicles.

The Chevy---GMC lines together make GM money. Some people like Chevys so they don't care about the GMC. The GMC is preceived as a premium product and people pay extra for a GMC, that is made on the same line as the Chevy with very little difference in appearance. And I think that the Cadillac is made on the same line. I know that Ford does that with the Lincoln.

I did not like the Chevy headlights so I bought a GMC. That's just the way it is.

On trucks GM knows what it is doing. Are they doing it as well as they can is another question? GM has to carry a lot of baggage.

The GMC Denali pickup had the 6.2L engine before the Chevy pickup had it.
