A friend has a class A motorhome DP and is on an extended trip to Alaska. His defroster fan works on low speed only, when turned to medium or high it quits working. Any thoughts on this?
Resistor block? Relay? Switch itself?
May look for a repair place today if he can't figure it out.
TIA

On some systems the high speed fan position is on a seperate fuse. If your friend had low and medium then the high speed fuse could be the problem. Since you said he has medium, then don't know. He might want to look for a fuse anyway.

Me thinks the resistor block is defective.

It could also be the blower switch. Had the one in my van burn out the contacts for medium and high speed.

Depending on the manufacturer, you could try e-mailing for a wiring diagram. My dash fan quit two weeks ago, so no vent, air or defrost. I e-mailed Monaco tech help line and they called me then e-mailed a wiring diagram for the heater, air and fan controls. In my case, after checking all outside items, had dash pulled and found the dash interface connector had worked loose.
