Lord Bush sure left him a mess to try and fix... This didn't start six months ago...
I'm just hoping between the two of them, GM and Chrysler will be able to turn it around and become profitable again. That's hoping, not predicting.

Chrysler is 0% 60 months and 2.9% for 72 months there are a few that you can get 0% for 72 months but not many.
I'll take a 0% for as long as they stay in business loan. I'll have that title in a couple of years.
Politicians didn't blow GM and Chrysler's reputation with the buyer, they did that themselves. People still have to be convinced to buy them, and I don't think that part of the equation is going well.

There has been a GM Truck in my drive way since 1971 until about two weeks ago. DW has a GM car and we are looking to trade or sell it, and so for nothing in the Big 3 is in our future. Its sad the condition GM is in. You can't let the tail wag the dog. Don't think if GM does survive it will ever go on strike again. The Duramax/Allison is a awesome combo. But I still have a Allison, but its being pushed by a MBE. Who knows if GM will survive but it sure has only one way to go and thats up. GBY....

I buy the truck or car, not the company. This is a tool, a means to an end and I always want the best tool for the job - no matter the politics. With what these trucks cost I have to look past that and try to buy once and buy correctly. Anyone whos bought cheap tools or the wrong tool for the job knows what I'm saying.

More people should have your outlook toward this matter.

I bought a 2008 D/A CC SB 4wd last September, before GM failed. Yesterday I decided it was time to change the fuel filter. After studying the situation for a couple of hours I find I must buy more tools and remove the fender liner to get to the fuel filter. Shouldn't be too much of a job, but how many times can I remove and replace the fender liner before it falls off on it's on.
Bad design by GM, or a committee spent a month figuring out how to make it a dealer only replacement job at $80/hr +. Take your pick. My opinion, GM got themselves in this mess with******like that and no amount of taxpayer money will fix it.
As for me, I have 4 GM products at my house right now, and there will NEVER be another one.

WellShooter-Filter can be removed/replaced from the top. I do mine in about 15 minutes. I use a filter wrench to remove and hand tighten. A special wrench is available to remove the WIF sensor. Couldn't be any simplier.

Oh now you went and ruined his reason for for not buying another GM. Myself I figure if you can't buy a service book and find out how to do the job right, then maybe you should not be doing any work on it in the first place!
