I've had mine for a year and the only real complaints are:
1.Stock water pump was WAY too loud.
2.Stock mattress needed upgrading
3.Had to add 2nd Battery (not included)
Other than that the family and I LOVE this thing.
It's not as easy to store as our Pop-up
But hey we wanted something bigger.

We've been with Gulf Stream now for 8 years. Our first was a 30' Seahawk which got a little small when we started going south for the winter and we now have a 34' Yellowstone. The one major problem was tires. Had 3 blowouts with the Seahawk & one with the Yellowstone. When I asked for upgraded tires, they sent them to me free of charge. Think most manufacturers put marginal tires on according to trailer weight to save tons of money. But We would vouch for the Mako fifth-wheels for sure!!

We have a 2001 Mako for our 2nd year now. We really love the camper and it's layout. Since we bought it used a lot depends on previous owner. We have not had any significant problems with this camper. Had to replace the battery converter that operated the slide but that was a a $100 fix, so no complaints here. This camper has been great to us and has kept up well so far.
