This coach has smooth flat fiberglass (not curved like a B or B+) sides. Has a 21-ft factory installed Carefree door/curb side awning. We want to add at least one awning on the road side over the 4' windows there. We're interested in "Standard" awnings with Vinyl "Camel Fade" or "Full View" fabric in "Sierra Brown." Hardware would be "Polar White."
What's involved? It seems to me I'd want to find the coach's framework and drive screws into it, but Jayco dealer told me they just lay it out and drive screws where the layout calls for it.
It seems the awnings are sold as a "roller kit" which has the fabric on it but not the arms. So there's also an "arm kit" but I don't see where either includes the "rail" or "track" that mounts on the coach above the window to slide the fabric edge into.
Can anybody help me source these parts?
Also, the 21-footer doesn't have a center support for the road or center rafter or ground leg for the campsite. I think it'd be good to have both. But neccessary? Unit ran 3 years 30000 miles full time and no roller tube damage.
Hopefully there's a source where I can order all I need to add a 5 foot "companion" (I just call it "window") awning, with track, plus the "Rafter VI GS" kit for center support on the 21 footer.
Thanks!
God Bless, jd
