Hey all,
I would first like to say that I have found this forum to be very helpful and informative. The DW and I just purchased a 2009 Winnebago Chalet 31J, and being new to the scene I used this place to get me over some of the rough spots and uncertainties.
Moving on, we took a 1,000 mile Maiden Voyage from Anchorage to Fairbanks to visit family, and had an absolute blast. The 4 kids had plenty of room and things to do, and the DW had tons of sites to take pictures of. Then of-course there is me, I am now completely addicted to the who RV owning, from driving, leveling, hooking, and washing, its the most rewarding experience I have had in awhile.
I look forward to being an active member on this forum, and will be here frequently as we plan for our long trip out of Alaska to the lower 48.

Congratulations. Me and the family just completed our maiden voyage last week. We didn't go as far as you did but I agree, it is very addictive. And I found this site to be very helpful as well.
