Hudson,
In 2000 I drove up to Labrador City as part of a group that was bicyclcling across to Happy Valley. Do you ever tow across the trans-Labrador Highway? What do you do about dust? When you leave to go out west do you go to Baie-Comeau or take the ferry from Happy Valley?

We had a great 5 days crossing Labrador!

I've driven the Highway #500 quite a bit with the trailer up to Churchill Falls and down to HV/Goose Bay. The dust is tough to handle. I've spent hours sealing the trailer's underbelly, sealing holes, wheel wells, etc. The secret is to drive the road when you get a chance IN THE RAIN! Then all you have is mud on the outside to worry about. I've driven the 389 up from Baie-Comeau only ONCE with my trailer, NEVER AGAIN. I always put the truck & trailer on the train in Lab City and ship it to Sept-Isles and then pick it up there after a 12 hour rest in the train coach watching the beautiful scenery. I only took my trailer once across the Labrador Sea to Lewisport,NF. It's expensive. We are heading your way in April to take the kids to Disney World! Driving down, hoping to make it in three days from here.
