Not long ago, I checked this forum for techniques to remove dead bugs from the front of our 5er. One bit of advice was to use dryer frabric softener sheets. Wet things down, wet the sheet and have at it. This is to offer my profound thanks for that advice. Not only does it work, but it works exceptionally easily and well — even on long dead and thoroughly baked bugs! To those who offered this advice, my thanks. To those who have not tried it, you have only a dryer sheet or two to lose! By the way, it works equally well on the front of the truck and the glass, too.

To add to this thread. A friend of mine owns a very large diesel motorhome in the north where the mosquitoes and black flies abound. He stopped by a year ago and cleaned his front off with soap and water very quickly. Apparently where he comes from, they spray Pam on the front end before a trip, and it seems to work great.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

Two thing
Make it even easier take a spray bottle and put the dryer sheet IN THE BOTTLE then fill it with water it works as well
As far as putting Pam on the finish DON'T do it
Pam is canola oil and it will eat the finsih off of newer paint jobs (not too bad on the old fiber glass and gel coat rigs)
