We have stayed at 3 parks on the Strand, Barefoot landing sits right on the beach across the street from Alabama Theater, the Blues Club, Barefoot Landing an outside shopping center, Cracker Barrel restaurant and country store is at the entrance to the campground all adds to the traffic. Not a lot for the kids to do. We stayed at PirateLand--the kids will love it. We also stayed at Ocena Lakes last winter with a site right at the beach the sunrises were spectacular--the kids will love the activities, beach, pool, etc. Both PirateLand and Ocean Lakes are in South Myrtle Beach but with easy access to everything on the Strand. Enjoy your trip so much to do and so little time.
