Would like to camp in South Carolina, Easter Ga. at a state Park. Had previousily mentioned Table Rock with one reply. Can anyone give me a name of a great state park along the I85 coridor South Carolina or Eastern GA. Looking for 2-3 hour trip from Charlotte, NC.

Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area Large sites, some are waterfront, plenty of water in lake this year. All sites have W/E and paved parking pads. Located on I85 on GA/SC border.

There are also GA state parks on Lake Hartwell. I have always stayed on SC side of the lake.

Hart State Park
Tugaloo State Park
I have neighbor that has stayed at Hart & gives it a good review.

Hi
I would suggest you try the state park on Myrtle Beach it is located on Rte 17 on the south end of the beach, next to Pirate Land and Lakewood campground. I drive through the State park every april and it is one of the prettiest campground I have ever been in. I wish I could stay there but my rig is just a little too big.
