Just returned from a week at Eagle's Peak CG, between Reading & Hershey, PA. Nice place, well run, QUIET and very family oriented. Lots of activities. If you're looking for a place to just go "hang out" (or hide!) this could be it. Sites in the woods are nicer than "the meadow" but meadow sites are closer to amenities.

We stayed there a couple of years ago. The kids loved it, very family oriented like you stated. I understand they put ina 2nd pool, also.

Always our kids first choice. We try to get there at least twice a year. Very nice and very well run, nice big sites and alot of them are more secluded.

Doug---we stayed there two years ago over the 4th of July. This was when we had our first TT. Very nice. Did you have any trouble getting up the hill???

No trouble getting up the hill, but it was in 2nd gear. Nice & easy does it every time.
And yes, they put in a 2nd pool. The swim-up snack bar was a big hit with our kids.

Doug---they just opened that pool the year we were there. How do you like your McKesh Mirrors? I love mine. Will never use those slide on ones again!

We just returned from Eagle's Peak, it really is a terrific campground. Wish the "meadow" sites were spaced out better. The new pool is awesome and the staff is really great.
