New RV parks are being added to the popular Interstate 5 corridor, the main thoroughfare running the length of the West Coast.
Ground was recently broken for the Yreka Travel Plaza and RV Park, a planned development near the California/Oregon border, while the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians are building a combination RV resort/office complex in northeast Salem, Oregon. The 14-1/2 acre Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, scheduled for completion in March 2006, will offer 139 sites, while the Yreka RV Park -- slated for opening before the end of the year -- will feature 103 sites.
Both parks will offer traditional amenities, as well as state-of-the-art wireless Internet access.
